Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my art site!

At the top, you will find links to my various work. Some items have not been uploaded because they were private commissions, but suffice it to say, there are plenty more where those came from!

Since creating this site, I have learned so much I never expected to even explore when I began. I have learned multiple forms of digital graphics, video editing, painting in mediums I hadn't thought were possible, and how truly extensive the term "art" can be.

Pen and pencil continues to be my favorite style, though woodworking and sculpting came as a complete surprise to me. They are each a hidden skill I hadn't dreamed I would possess but have taught me much in the way of patience and pushing my skills beyond what I ever imagine would be my limit.

I continue to learn video editing, and use my growing knowledge for myself as well as others. My main site for my video uploads would be Lady Falcon and Her Knight Of Ren. I named it for myself and my daughter, who is a big Kylo Ren fan.

I hope you enjoy my work and my exploration into more hidden artistic talents.

Crayon Pumpkin

Had a little fun for Halloween. I made a purple one, too, but it was put away before I remembered to take pics. Crayola crayons unwrapped, craft pumpkin from Michael's Arts and Crafts, craft harvest leaves, high temp glue gun, hair dryer on high.

Rain Stick!

I bought a pair of brushes for my drums and didn't want to throw the tube away that held them. I had a case already, so I decided I could make a rainstick from the sturdy plastic tube. A friend who works at the music store collected some small pouches of silicone freshener packs found in new cases and emptied them into the tube.

I painted them, wrapped the ends with faux snow leopard fur, wrapped a cord of leather around all of that, and attached two raven feathers and my old Asatru medalion. It sounds awesome! I still need to poke some pins through in a few areas to give it a more authentic sound.

Restaurant Sign

I was asked to make a sign for a local restaurant. This was my very first attempt at carving letters.

This was my original design created on the computer:

I printed out the letters and placed them.

I traced the outline with a pointed Dremel tip.

Then I carved out the letters and edging.

Next, painting.

Then sanding and stain. I used Provincial shade.

Finally, I added 5 coats of semi-gloss polyurethane to the front and 3 coats to the back. I filled in the letters with a paintbrush.

And I came up with my own engraver's mark. It's a new stylized version of my white lily symbol.
